The Aligned Business Collaborative started within our founding companies! For more than 8 years, we’ve been living in a B2B world. We get you. We are you. We’ve scaled four companies now doing purely B2B work.

We see business owners struggling to find ideal clients. They are blowing money on ads that don’t hit the right target, they spend mind-numbing amounts of time on LinkedIn hoping that will work, and they go to networking events that produce mixed results and lots of new business cards to bring home. We know there’s an easier way and it starts now.

The Detailed Backstory:

The Aligned Business Collaborative has been waiting to be “born” into the world for many moons now.

As co-founders of their aptly named marketing agency, STOKES|HERZOG Marketing + Consulting, husband and wife duo Sarah Stokes and Chris Herzog have about a million ideas a week. But interestingly, both of them had a similar nudge to create a platform for business people in 2021. Chris actually drafted a business plan for a networking group while Sarah happened to be launching her annual business coaching program. She told him to just hang on as her brain couldn’t do anything else at the time and promptly forgot about his plan (whoops!). He kindly emailed her his business plan a few days after she had plotted out the Aligned Business Collaborative.

It's said that the same great idea will come to more than one person at once. Interestingly, for months, likely at the same time she forgot about his plans, Sarah was having these visions of a business center in different parts of the country where people would come and learn new ways of being and doing business with heart. Neither plan was fully formed, but Sarah would mention things here and there to her friends and coaches about this “thing” that was calling to her. Chris didn’t mention his plan again and went on doing real estate work and Sarah went about doing her thing with The Juicy Good Life. 2021 was full of business activity, but no new “center” or “network” yet. After all, they are already tending to three companies and two young children. It was plenty.  

Well, the stars finally “aligned” in winter of 2022 when the opportunity to do something new opened up at their marketing agency. It was time. They had new leadership ready and with the perfect experience to create something new. Their team is dedicated and ready for alignment. A few team meetings later and here we are! The Aligned Business Collaborative is here!
